The Annual Conference of the Finnish Political Science Association is organized at the University of Turku on 8.–9. March 2018. The conference theme is “What Color is the Future?”

Members of the FPSA and NAF, as well as students, may attend the conference for free. For others, the conference fee is 100 euros, payable to the FPSA account FI 5780 0018 0016 4247.
The keynote lecture will be held by associate professor Alan M. Jacobs from the University of British Columbia on the topic ””Can Democracies Manage the Future? Some Findings and a Research Agenda” (Pub 1). Jacobs’s visit is sponsored by the project ”Participation in Long-Term Decision-Making” (PALO).
The evening event on 8th March will take place at 18.00 at the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova museum of history and contemporary art and the adjacent restaurant M Kitchen & Café, all located in Turku.
The museum Aboa Vetus will then be open regular hours and Ars Nova will be displaying the 8th Biennial Turku exhibit.
The participants are to reserve their hotel rooms. The guests will pay for the rooms themselves.
